OBTAIN ROAD WORTHINESS STICKER

 

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Individuals requiring obtaining a road worthiness sticker need to request for the service to Ministry of Housing, Transport and Environment. The following describes the procedure.

Service available: 8:00am to 04:00 pm, working days.
Average Time for service: 2 (two) days
No of visits required: 2 (two).

CRITERIA/PRE-REQUISITES
  • This service will not be provided for the vehicle if the annual fee is not paid after the due date for the requested vehicle.
  • Should not have any outstanding payment for the requested vehicle to MoTC due to any reason.
PROCEDURE
  1. Take a token number and submit the filled application form with the necessary documents (listed in “Documents and Form required”) to the service counter.
  2. Collect an acknowledgement slip from the counter if you have submitted all the required documents. (This slip states the time and dates which to collect road worthiness sticker from the ministry.)
  3. Go to the service counter of Transport Division on the date specified on the acknowledgement slip (after taking a token number) and submit the slip to the counter.
  4. Sign on the slip issued from the counter stating that you have collected the road worthiness sticker from the Transport Division and obtain the road worthiness sticker.
DOCUMENTS AND FORMS REQUIRED
  • Filled LR1 Form (3471KB ).
  • Annual fee payment receipt (original or copy).
  • Roadworthiness report (original).

  • This service is for free.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Any service to a vehicle would be provided only if the necessary fees had been settled with ministry that had been occurred due to traffic problems.
  • The application for the service to that particular vehicle would be accepted when the payment is settled for the sticker pasted due to the traffic problems.
