1.     Take a token number and when your number is displayed, submit the filled application form with necessary documents (listed in “Documents and Forms required”) to the service counter of Transport Division.

2.     Once you have submitted all the required documents, obtain a service memo from the counter (the date and time to collect the registration certificate will be mentioned in this memo).

3.     Make the payment and obtain the payment receipt

4.     Go to the Transport Division on the date specified on the service memo and submit (after taking a token number) the service memo to the service counter.

5.     Obtain the Registration certificate after filling your details in a slip provided by the staff at the service counter.

·         Filled LR1 Form  (3471 KB )

·         Filled customs A form

·         Roadworthiness report (original).

·         National Identity Card (copy).

·         If it is for a company the company registration certificate (copy).

·         Stamp of the organization if it is for a government organization.

·         Vehicle (Four wheeler) Information sheet issued to the specific vehicle from MOTC, before Importing the Vehicle. (copy)

·        The garage information of the vehicle if it is to be used in Male’(Four wheelers only)

o    The garage registration (copy) given from the Male’ Municipality.
