If the birth registry or certificate issued from Male’ Municipality is lost or damaged, citizen must renew it. This service is available from Male’ Municipality. The following describes the procedure.

1. Submit the filled application form with the necessary documents (listed in “Documents and Forms required”) to counter of Male’ Municipality Aabaadheeaai behey section
2. Make the necessary payment and obtain the payment receipt. (the date and time at which to collect the registry / certificate will be mentioned in this slip)
3. Go to the Male’ Municipality on the date and time stated on the payment receipt and submit it to the Aabaadhee aai behey section and obtained the Birth Certificate / Registry.
   

• Filled “Ufandhuvahuge certificate gehligen hadhan edhey” form (114 KB,)
• Rf 1 revenue stamp.

Fine:

• Rf 10 (If Birth Certificate is lost)
